So you may have noticed that I just published a bunch of photos.  The latest of them, Stony Creek Mountain, is a picture I took over the summer at our family's cabin in the Adirondacks in New York.  I've been planning for the past couple of years to take that picture, frame it, and give it to my dad for Christmas, so I think this is the year to do it.  Apparently my sister wants one too. :) A little background on my photography...  I got into photography about 2 years ago, when I bought a Pentax K-X DSLR camera.  A lot of people ask why I didn't get a Canon or Nikon...  My mother in law used to be into film photography back in the 70s and 80

Yeah, it's true, I never update my journal. :) At any rate, my current art-related project is called OpenGameArt.org, and it's a site that archives freely-licensed art and audio suitable for use in video games.  If you've got any old art lying around on your hard drive that you think would work in a video game (be it concept art, pixel art, 3d model, you name it), we'd love to archive it.
